Neowin's Shift Linux is designed to give the user an experience of being part of the Neowin community as well as having a simple, easy-to-use Live CD. Shift is a free, GPL-based Linux distribution that can be freely distributed or modified. There are no restrictions with Shift.

-= Kubuntu 8.10 Alpha Release =-
The first Alpha CD for Kubuntu Intrepid has been released, featuring KDE 4.1 Beta 2.

KDE4 has to be my favorite Desktop Management in VirtualBox.

Kubuntu 8.10 looks like it will be another great addition to the Kubuntu family. As is the norm for the "Kubuntu Images", the VirtualBox ClientAdditions are installed and working.

openSUSE 11 KDE sports a slick desktop environment. The desktop has a fresh new look and very easy to use built in desktop widgets. Even the desktop Icons can be customized.
