Once again it was necessary to load the VBoxGuestAdditions in order to get the screen resolution set to a usable setting

VBoxGuestAdditions are installed and fully functional.

gNewSense has a rich graphical user-interface, a full office suite, plus web browsers, email, instant messenging, calendaring and for developers — the full GNU developer toolchain, GNU Emacs and a variety of compilers, debuggers and more. gNewSense is based on Ubuntu without any non-free packages.

MidiFlux has an application for most user needs and contains everything you would expect from a modern Linux desktop distribution. The applications have been carefully selected for size, low system requirements and compatibility with the GTK/Gnome desktop environment. More applications, including KDE applications can be installed via Synaptic from the main PCLinuxOS 2007 repositories.

paldo is a Upkg driven GNU/Linux distribution. It's kind of a mix of a source and a binary distribution. Even though it builds packages like a source distribution it provides binary packages.

Running Gnome desktop, paldo aims to be simple, pure, up to date and standards compliant.

VBoxGuestAdditions are installed, but are not fully functional. See the Build Notes below.

    WorkBench Linux is a Xubuntu-based distribution for web developers.
    Workbench Linux includes the most popular development environments, Eclipse, NetBeans, Lazarus, Gambas and MonoDevelopment.

    Also built in are tools (GCC, Sun JDK, PHP, Apache, MySQL) and utilities.

    This is a wonderful OS the desktop is well laid out. There are some issues with Screenlets. Some of the Screenlets seem to launch but do not work as expected. This is stll in Beta so you be the judge.

    The virtual image has VBoxGuestAdditions installed.
