Workbench Linux uses the XFCE Window manager and is a wonderful system. The overall goal of this distribution is a web development platform. Workbench comes loaded with development tools (Eclipse, NetBeans, Gambas, Lazarus and more), Web design/development tools (Inkscape, GIMP, PHP, Apache, MySQL) and Cairo-dock and screenlets even without 3D acceleration. Additionally the system sports OpenOffice.org, vlc, totem, ndisgtk, and many more.
This is the first release at 0.5 and it is obvious that with a few tweeks Workbench will be selected by those who just want to develop and not load programs.
